What's New?

A New OVTAA Newsletter is Coming Soon!
The OVTAA Board is excited to announce that our newsletter has a new editing team. Jennifer Munson will be handling layout and Naomi Paine will be assisting with the collection of articles, etc. I know that thanks to their efforts you will find our newsletter to be more reader-friendly in the future. So watch for the next issue coming your way in March and thank you to MWI for their continued generous donation of the printing costs.

FAQ Page Correction
When entering the info on the FAQ page I accidentally wrote that the minimum number of on-the-job hours required to "grandfather- in" for those individuals not graduates of an AVMA-accredited college was 7,500. This is incorrect. The correct number of hours is 6,000. I apologize for the inconvience. Please see the FAQ page for complete details on applying to become a CVT in the state of Oregon. And coming soon info on how to transfer your license to Oregon if you are licensed in another state.

Think that the OVTAA is only active in the Portland metropolitan area?
Check out the Districts page with updates from our members in District 6 which comprises Coos, Curry, Douglas, Jackson, and Josephine counties. If you're from the area check the link frequently for updates including contact info and upcoming meeting dates. Thanks, Deeanne and Lona!!
