This mailing included a postage paid postcard that is your ballot. To read about calendar events simply drag over the event or click on the event to read the entire event description. Calendar items are color-coded. Green is for OVTAA Special Events such as OVTAA sponsored CE, blue is for OVTAA board meetings and pink is the deadline for submissions to the newsletter. So check out our calendar and e-mail feedback to ovtaa@ovtaa.org .Posted on 09 Oct 2008 by april brownOVTAA Anesthesia CE October 19th in PortlandThe OVTAA will be celebrating National Veterinary Technician Week with 6 hours of CE for assistants and technicians on October 19, 2008 8am-4:30pm.
Speakers will include:
Heidi Shafford, DVM, PhD, DACVA on "Anesthesia for the High Risk Patient and Large Animal Anesthesia"
Chris McCormick, RVT, LATG on "The Anatomy of the Anesthsia Machine"
Debra Hickman, DVM, MS, DACLAM on "Anesthesia for Rabbits and Rodents"
The CE will be held at Portland Community College's Rock Creek Campus
17705 NW Springville Road, Portland OR 97229 in Building 9.
The cost for the CE is $15 for OVTAA members and $20 for non-members and includes lunch.
Payment will be collected at the event. The OVTAA can ONLY accept payment by cash or checks only- no debit or credit cards will be accepted. OVTAA memberships will also be available for purchase the day of the event.
An RSVP is required for this event.
