Oregon Veterinary Medical Examining Board Proposed Rule Changes
The OVMEB has proposed rule changes:
1. Allows students of Board-approved veterinary technology programs to work as interns in practices under supervision of a licensed Oregon veterinarian or CVT.
2. Updates pain management minimum standards.
3. Clarifies physical exam requirements to establish a VCPR and to perform euthanasia.
4. Eliminates waiver of VTNE for out-of-state applicants
