7th Annual Oregon Veterinary Conference Friday - Sunday, March 7 - 9, 2008 Oregon State University, Corvallis

Registration materials now available from OVMA Web site Conference program and registration materials will be mailed in early January. The program and registration forms, as well as travel and lodging information, are also available from our Web site at: http://www.oregonvma.org/services/ovc.asp Register by February 20, 2008 to guarantee your copy of the proceedings and avoid a late fee.
Registrants may attend any session on the days they are registered for. The proceedings will include notes for all sessions.

OVTAA FULL DAY OF CE! FREE!
When: Saturday, October 20th Registration begins at 8am CE meeting at 9 am. Topics include: Radiology/Trouble shooting the Image Chain, Management of Kidney Failure, "My Dog is Itchy", zoonotic diseases, and an overview of employer provided benefit plans. August 2007 Events
OVTAA CE evening! Free to members! Saturday, August 4th the OVTAA and Columbia Equine Hospital is hosting a free CE day! The morning session will be on Equine Dentistry with Dental and Intra-oral Radiograph Wet Lab and taught by Dave Klugh, DVM. The afternoon session will be Client Education Topics: Answering Questions that Start with "I read on the Internet" and will be an interactive question and answer session between participants and the veterinarians and staff of Columbia Equine. Registration begins at 8am at Columbia Equine Hospital in Gresha, 27841 SE Orient Drive, Gresham, OR 97080 Phone 503-663-1515. A light lunch will be provided for attendees. OVTAA CE evening! Free to members!
Sunday, August 5th the Portland Veterinary Medical Association (PVMA) and OVTAA are hosting a CE event on Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease on the Portland Spirit River Boat. The speaker will be Mark Cohen, DVM. The event will provide one hour of continuing education and plenty of time to enjoy the beauty of the cruise. An RSVP is required by July 25th! Registration is at 11am with boarding at 11:30am and the boat returning at 2:30pm. Space is limited so make sure to RSVP by e-mail to pvma@portlandvma.org or call Cristina at 503-228-7387. OVTAA CE evening! Free to members!
Wednesday, August 22nd at 7pm Dove Lewis Community Meeting Room on the 2nd floor. The OVTAA will be presenting "Understanding Your Dog" by speaker Heather Toland, CVT. The CE will focus on interpreting a canine's body language. This CE is FREE for members of the OVTAA and $15.00 for non-members

Mark your calendars! The OVTAA will be bringing a full day of continuing education to the Portland area on Saturday, October 20th in celebration of National Vet Tech Week! Speakers and topics are yet to be announced so keep checking the website fro the latest info! This event will be made possible through the generous support of Hill's Pet Nutrition.
